The Department of Germanic Philology sincerely congratulates Bachelor graduates on acquiring higher education and receiving diplomas!

 

A methodical seminar took place at the Department of Germanic Philology to improve the educational programme studying. Head of the Department, professor Iryna Kobyakova, programme "Practice of Translation from the Basic (English) Language"

Alona Kovalenko, a student majoring in Philology SumDU received an academic scholarship from the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for the second semester of the 2020-2021 academic year.

Our congratulations to Vitalii Stepanov, Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Department of Germanic Philology on successful thesis defence and becoming Ph.D. in specialty "035 Philology".

 

For three months, Diana Movchan, an associate professor at the Department of Germanic philology, improved her skills within the framework of the Goethe-Institut "Deutsch Lehren Lernen" program ("Learn to teach German").

A 4th-year student of the Department of Germanic Philology Anastasiia Dorohokuplia received a third-degree Diploma in the second round of The International Competition of Student Research Papers in the specialty 035 "Philology", which took place on June 2nd at Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University (Kremenchuk).

 

Members of the Expert Employers Board in the specialty 035 "Philology" - Head of the Department of Romano-Germanic Languages of National Pedagogical Drahomanov University, Doctor of Philology, Associate Professor Tetiana Anokhina and Director of Economics and Finance of JSC "Ukrnaftokhimproekt" with the standards translation department Vira Tur express their gratitude to the Department of Germanic Philology students for fruitful cooperation.

 

There was the long-awaited final of the translation competition "Lviv European", which united only 150 finalists from more than 3000 participants, including students of the Department of Germanic Philology Alina Liuta and Anastasiia Dorohokuplia.
