For three months, Diana Movchan, an associate professor at the Department of Germanic philology, improved her skills within the framework of the Goethe-Institut "Deutsch Lehren Lernen" program ("Learn to teach German").

The project, which took place online, is based on modern advances in didactics and methods of teaching German and integrates an innovative approach to training - research through activities. The lecturer had the opportunity to update knowledge in teaching German and develop practical methodological competence by participating in open discussions concerning teaching in different learning contexts.

The central element of professional development was a practical research project (Praxiserkundungsprojekt (PEP)), which aims to encourage lecturers to comprehend and re-evaluate their own learning experience, trying themselves as researchers trying something new in terms of didactics.
