During October within the students' club of linguistic and cultural studies "Travel Office" under Olena Nazarenko (lecturer of the Department of Germanic Philology), 1st year philology students had a series of meetings with SumDU graduates who currently live, study or work in Germany.

Liubov Taran (graduate of the department and founder of the Start company) spoke directly from the city of Kiel about peculiarities of administrative government and authorities. She showed the Landtag building, shared her own study experience for a master's degree at Kiel University. Liuba also spoke about job opportunities in Germany and employment services that her company has successfully provided for several years, where our graduates and best students work.

The next meeting was from the city of Bamberg. Alina Liuta (4th year student) is studying at a German university this semester under the academic mobility programme. So, of course, it was about education: study differences and similarities in Germany and Ukraine, academic mobility programs. Alina shared her experience of participating in programs and advised students to start selecting programs for participation and write covering letters.

Alona Olondar (fourth-year BiEM student) has submitted many project applications. Therefore, she knows well what is needed for a successful outcome. She continued her studies in Germany and participated in academic mobility programs. In addition, Alona touched the topic of student life, nutrition, dormitory of the German University of Koblenz. Thus, our students could see everything from the inside.

Our example inspires the best. So, the Travel Office is grateful to lecturers, alumni and students who are happy to share their experiences in other countries.

See you!
