The Department of Germanic Philology organized a virtual mobility program with Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (Nabua, Philippines). It was attended by 52 Ukrainian and 61 Filipino students. Coordinator from SSU was Alla Krasulia (PhD in Pedagogy, Vice Dean for International Relations, Senior Lecturer).

The program combined the disciplines "Basics of Language Communication Theory" (SSU) and "Introduction to Society, Language and Culture" (Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges). That allowed students to speak with their peers from other countries and gain knowledge of cross-cultural communication.

Joint lectures were given by Iryna Ushchapovska (Senior Lecturer of the Department of Germanic Philology) and Marlon Pontillas (PhD in Applied Linguistics of Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges).

Students were asked to make a project based on the program results. The final meeting was unforgettable with presentations and communication on linguistic aspects in different countries, features of non-verbal symbols and trends in preserving national identity in the context of globalization.

Students and lecturers received certificates for successful completion of the virtual mobility. Congratulations!
