On November 25, Anhelina Lisun and Anastasiia Liubych (SumDU students), inspired by the online courses "English for the Workplace", "Interpreting for Refugees: Contexts, Practices and Ethics" on the FutureLearn portal, shared their experience with the first- and second-year Philology students.

Within the "Travel Office" (guided by Olena Nazarenko and due to Vladyslava Kulish and Antonina Prokopenko), future translators were informed on valuable tips how to get a job, how to write a CV and a cover letter correctly, how to prepare for the interview, etc. All participants had a unique opportunity to share their thoughts and ambitions using the meeting presentation materials. Life goals and personality introduction were discussed. Thus, the meeting was lively and interactive.

"It is a great honor for us to conduct such an interesting event. I enjoy this new experience of working with the audience. I think we have got such a great result thanks to student's activity", said Anhelina.

"You won't believe how talented and ambitious Germanic philology students are. Such events teach you how to speak in public, maintain the audience attention and succeed at academic goals. It was amazing to share your knowledge with colleagues," stated Anastasiia.
