Iryna Ushchapovska, lecturer at the Department of Germanic Philology has joined the membership of the Center for Ukrainian and European Scientific Cooperation – a public organization established in 2010 in Odesa.

Today, the priority areas of the Center for Ukrainian and European Scientific Cooperation are assistance to Ukrainian scientists in participating in international scientific conferences and scientific and pedagogical internships that take place in the European Union, studying the experience of activities of higher educational institutions and subjects of public administration in the field of education and science of the European Union on the organization of the educational process in higher schools and scientific activity.

An important activity of the Center for Ukrainian and European Scientific Cooperation is also the organization of institutional visits for domestic students, postgraduates and young scientists in order to study the best achievements of the European Union countries as in education and science, and in the field of state-building in general.

Upon acquiring the status of a member of CUESC, the scientist gains the opportunity to:

 1. Communicate and share experiences with colleagues.
  2. Be the first to know about upcoming scientific events and projects of CUESC and foreign higher education institutions that are partners of CUESC.
3. Participate in foreign scientific and practical conferences free of charge or on preferential terms.
4. Undertake, free of charge or on favorable terms, research and teaching internships organized by foreign higher education institutions.
  5. To take part in the writing of foreign collective monographs free of charge or on preferential terms.
6. Participate in institutional visits to international and European institutions, public authorities of the Member States of the European Union, the European higher education institutions with the payment of grant funds.
  7. To take part in organization and participation in scientific conferences, training, seminars and round tables in picturesque places of the Transcarpathia region with payment at the expense of grant funds.

  8. Carry out scientific-analytical research in cooperation with scientists from EU countries with payment at the expense of grant funds.

 10. Participate in the discussion and lobbying of numerous draft regulations in the field of science and higher education in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
