This year, I am participating in an academic mobility program in Bamberg (Germany). I am very grateful to Diana Movchan for informing me about the opportunity to take part in this program. She supported me and told not to be afraid.

I like to live in an ancient town of Bamberg because it is very beautiful and calm. I met students from different countries and made friends with Ukrainian girls. We often go for a walk to Nuremberg.

Local study is a little different because you can choose the disciplines and the appropriate level. I think this method is effective because students study what they are really interested in. Here, I have an opportunity to communicate with native speakers of both German and English. I am pleasantly surprised by the support and attitude of lecturers towards Ukrainians. The director of the International office of the Otto and Friedrich University (Andreas Weier) and his wife invited us to visit. I also attended music concerts with them.

Thanks to the academic mobility program, I have experienced life as it was before the Covid and the war - without depression and anxiety. I am also expanding my knowledge here.
