On 13-16 February 2023, SumDU hosted the Second Stage of the All-Ukrainian Research Contest for Members of the Ukrainian Junior Science Academy.

This year, there were 247 works from young researchers. They demonstrated their results online.

47 SumDU sections were held within the sections "Mathematics", "Economics", "Physics and Astronomy", "Information Technologies", "Technical Sciences", "Chemistry and Biology, Ecology and Agrarian Sciences", "Philosophy, Sociology, History", "Earth Studies", "Literature, Folklore, Arts and Languages".

Among the jury, there were SumDU representatives as well.

Larysa Shchyhlo and Vitalii Stepanov were jury members from the Department of Germanic Philology. They assessed three German works from Konotop, Lebedyn and Okhtyrka.

The winner was Vitalii Chernenko from Okhtyrka. His research was devoted to the German advertising discourse.
