"Another important stage of my self-improvement is over… Well, studying was interesting, but I wondered whether I could manage to do it. There was a great deal of work to do (translations, reports, presentations, individual assignments)", ⎯ says Yurii Chaika, an extramural graduate, sharing his experience of studying at SumDU. He received a Master's degree in Philology.

Yurii points out that he learned about various modern technologies and teaching-platforms such as Lectur.ED, MIX, OCW and Trello. He observed interesting teaching methods and discovered many writers and translators.

"My knowledge and skills will help me in my future work. I am grateful to my teachers, especially Iryna Kobyakova (the head of the Department of Germanic Philology), Larysa Shchyhlo (Master’s thesis supervisor) and all my teachers and groupmates for their help and advice!
