On December 18, the 3rd round of All-Ukrainian Vitaliy Keis Contest of Shakespeare Studies for Young Researchers was held at Zaporizhzhia National University. This year the Department of Germanic Philology sent one research project ("Linguistic aspects of concept MUSIC actualization in William Shakespeare comedies", Karyna Vedmydera supervised by Maryna Chernyk). Besides, three creative projects were prepared: "Specification of actualizing art synthesis in the aspect of filming William Shakespeare's sonnets" (Valeriia Smolianinova), "Song as a kind of synthetic art in the structure of the drama film "Romeo and Juliette" (Anastasiia Dediukhina), "Influence of William Shakespeare's works on Ukrainian art in the past and present" (Valentyna Rebenok). All three projects were supervised by Olena Emelyanova

The projects made it to the finals, and two of them were awarded. Valeriia Smolianinova won the 1st place, Karina Vedmydera took the 2nd place.

Sincere congratulations to the winners! We invite you to check out Valeriia Smolianinova's creative project, which has a concise and out-of-the-ordinary title "Through Time". You can find the project on our YouTube channel by clicking the link: https://youtu.be/XhQ8_J4vRs0
