On 28 May 2023, the Ukrainian Inter-University Shakespeare ZNU Center, Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University and the Ukrainian Association of Foreign Literature Teachers organized the seminar "The Latest Strategies for Representing William Shakespeare's Works in Foreign Literature Classes". Here, there were invited winners of the XII All-Ukrainian Vitalii Kays Contest for Student Research and Creative Shakespeare Projects.

SumDU was represented by Kateryna Kolodiazhna (a 3rd-year Philology student, supervisor Oksana Brovkina). She took the second place at the XII All-Ukrainian Shakespeare Contest.

The participants shared achievements, talked and exchanged experiences.

According to Kateryna Kolodiazhna, preparing her creative project, she seemed to look behind the scenes of her own consciousness:

"The radically different use of my translation and writing skills helped me to build my own style and view of literary translation! A competition like this is a huge springboard for the implementation of any creative or research ideas. So, I advise everyone to join who is fond of a great playwright.
