On 28-31 March 2023, the XII International Scientific and Practical Conference "Actual Issues of the Development of Science and Ensuring the Quality of Education" was held in Italy. Among participators, there were Olha Shumenko (an associate professor of the Department of Germanic Philology) and Diana Pravdiuk (a Philology student). The initiative was supported by the Employers' Board.

The conference was devoted to issues of philology, pedagogy and translation studies.

The participants prepared a report. Actively discussed with other speakers. Shared their own experience. The Department of Germanic Philology represented Sumy State University at the international level with dignity.
