The textbook "Simultaneous Translation Problems" is published in 2023. The authors are Svitlana Shvachko (academician of the Higher School of the Ukrainian Science Academy, DSc in Philology, professor), Iryna Kobiakova (professor, department head) and Tetiana Anokhina (Translation graduate, expert of the Employers' Council, professor at Kyiv National Linguistic University).

One of the most important factors in realizing the modern intercultural communication is translation. Here, the simultaneous translation often plays a significant role. The authors cover different translation issues: language, sociolinguistic and translation parameters; translation analysis; standardization and codification of modern scientific terminology; nationally marked vocabulary; rendering of nominative and communicative units.

The textbook is intended for students of various lingual specialties. It can be used to teach "Introduction to Translation Studies", "Introduction to Germanic Linguistics", "History of Germanic Languages", "Fundamentals of Simultaneous Interpretation".
