As a member of the SumDU vocal studio, Kateryna Kolodiazhna (a student from the Department of Germanic Philology) worthily represented the department and the university at the VI International Art Festival "Lymanski Zori" (Mykolaiv). There, she got the gold.

The event took place on 5 November 2022. It was supported by the Ukrainian Ministry of Culture and Information Policy. The competition format was remote. The participants recorded their performances and demonstrated them on YouTube.

The SumDU song "Ya Pidu V Daleki Hory" [I will walk to the far mountains] received the highest assessment. Kateryna was awarded the Variety Vocal nomination.
