We are grateful for the translation of Wikipedia articles, a publicly available, multilingual encyclopedia with free content performed by students under the lecturer's guidance during May 2019.
The message states: “Thank you very much for this work! I hope your experience with Wikipedia was only positive. Can I help you with anything? You probably already know about the Wikipedia tool for translating articles. You may find it helpful to track the submission of a group of people to Wikipedia. We try to keep in touch with active lecturers who use Wikipedia in their teaching process. If we can help you somehow, be sure to let us know. "

The compound of face-to-face training and practical use of the obtained knowledge is a priority area of work of the Department of Germanic Philology at the Faculty of Foreign Philology and Social Communications of SSU, which brings a socially useful result.
