On 9 March 2024, the Department of Germanic Philology held a meeting with applicants. During the meeting, schoolchildren had an opportunity to learn about the peculiarities of admission and study in the 035 Philology specialty at Sumy State University. In addition, everybody had an opportunity to complete the game quest "Jumanji: The philologist path". Divided into teams, they overcame obstacles - interesting English exercises with questions about the specialty and the department - to reach the winning location! The quest was a great idea to meet applicants.

"This is how we managed to successfully combine informational, educational and entertainment components. I would like to thank the schoolchildren who diligently and quite seriously took the tasks of the English language. Apparently, the English NMT approach has worked", - commented Anna Zinchenko (a department lecturer).
