According to the Ministry of Education and Science decree, Daryna SHCHERBAK was awarded a scholarship from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

"For me, the scholarship is one of the significant achievements in my life, an acknowledgment that I have accomplished something in my scientific activity", – says Daryna.

The girl said she chose SumDU without hesitation because she found out about the opportunities it offers. She has never regretted her choice. 

Daryna is actively engaged in science. Her achievements include materials from conferences on ethnolinguistics and cognitive linguistics, participation in the translation contest "European Lviv 2021". Also, she obtained an academic scholarship from the President of Ukraine in 2023. The young philologist plans to enroll in a master's degree and delve even deeper into scientific activity.

In addition to studies and science, Daryna participates in sports, plays football and volleyball in her free time. She volunteers as well: visits animal shelters. By the way, the girl donated part of the money to help animals. 

Daryna shared her formula for success: diligent work, focus on studying, time management skills, family support. The student also emphasized positive emotions because they make our lives easier.
