On 16 and 22 June 2023, the Department of Germanic Philology held an attestation of Bachelor's degree graduates.

The qualification exam was held remotely on the MIX platform of Sumy State University. The head of the examination committee was Tetiana Anokhina (professor of the Department of English Translation Theory and Practice at Kyiv National Linguistic University, general director of KHIMMASHPROEKT LLC). The deputy head was Iryne Kobyakova (professor, head of the Department of Germanic Philology). The committee members were Olena Yemelianova (associate professor), Svitlana Baranova (associate professor) and Olha Hlushchenko (director of the SotikTur travel network).

The students showed a high level of knowledge. They demonstrated language and communication skills, country and translation competence. Everybody had deep knowledge in linguistics and translation theory.

All philology bachelors are recommended to continue their studies at the master's level.
