On 29 February 2024, the Department of Germanic  Philology hosted a meeting with the guarantors of the curriculum "Germanic Languages and Literatures (Translation Included), English as the First the Language" for the bachelors, masters and PhD students. Svitlana Baranova, Iryna Kobiakova and Nataliia Tatsenko spoke. They talked about ensuring a students' right to form individual educational trajectories.

According to the SumDU order as of 17.12.2021 №1372-I, students must be informed about educational process peculiarities and curriculum structure in terms of compulsory and elective subjects.

Multidisciplinary educational components are offered for study, in particular those developed within international grant projects (Erasmus+, Jean Monnet). Individual educational components ensure the formation of knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to understand the nature, structure and ways of achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
