On 18-22 December 2023, the Department of Germanic Philology held the defense of Master's theses in the specialty 035 "Philology" with the specialization "German Languages and Literatures (Including Translation), English as the First Language" (full-time and part-time curricula). Various and amazing works were presented.

Among the examination board members, there were Anokhina Tetiana (DSc in Philology, head), Svitlana Baranova (PhD in Philology, deputy head). Other members were Kobyakova Iryne, Shvachko Svitlana, Shchyhlo Larysa, Chulanova Halyna, Olena Medvid, Olena Yemelianova. Besides, participants were members of the Employers' Expert Board: Olha Hlushchenko (director of the network of travel agencies "SOTIK TOUR") and Vira Tur (director of economics and finance at the Ukranaftokhimproekt LLC with the standards translation department).

During the defense, the Master's students demonstrated a high level of professional competence. The examination board especially noted the relevance of topics and development in the context of modern European integration. Papers are recognizaed via international and domestic professional publications.
