On 13 September 2023, lecturers of the Department of Germanic Philology took part in the meeting of permanent interfaculty scientific seminars at Sumy State University. The seminar title was "Application of sociological data in scientific research and decision-making practice".

Professor Andriana Kostenko presented a report on social resilience of Ukrainians the war conditions: quantitative and qualitative indicators.

The seminar was held in a mixed format. The participants actively debated, discussed the issues, raised and shared their opinions on main aspects of the social resilience among Ukrainians.
