On 10 April 2023, Iryna Uschapovska (senior lecturer of the Department of Germanic Philology) gave a guest lecture on the topic "Language and Sustainable Development". It was attended by students of the Department of Tourism and Humanities of the International European University (Kyiv).

There were 154 visitors: students (European School of Business, Vinnytsia Humanitarian and Pedagogical College), colleagues from the International European University and other institutions.

The lecture was devoted to the language role in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. Questions were raised about functioning and localization of sustainable development terms. The language sustainability was focused on as an important element of uniting and supporting the nation.

Iryna Uschapovska emphasized the need for English study. Today, it is an important means of ensuring sustainable development and the basis of social and informational progress in any country.

The lecture took place in a creative and friendly atmosphere. The information interested all listeners.
