In the autumn semester 2022-2023, the training course "Sustainable Development: EU Practices" was presented for students of Sumy State University. The course was developed by the lecturers Oleksandra Kubatko and Iryna Ushchapovska within implementation of the Jean Monet module "Fostering EU Practices of Education for Sustainable Development through the Brand Language: Interdisciplinary Studies" (ESDbrandEU) of the EU Erasmus+ program (101085708 – ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH). It is headed by Iryna Ushchapovska.

The course has been prepared in English to spread sustainability terminology through the brand language.

During the training course, there were discussions of key directions and goals of sustainable development and their connection with economic policies of the national economy. Examples of EU policies on ensuring sustainable development were provided. Also, key developments in the industrial sphere were considered to achieve environmental goals.
