Sumy State University is increasingly becoming a center of the European values and standards in Ukraine. It is important to receive good news about victories on all fronts for our country, especially in this difficult wartime. We have received a record number of projects again: now 11 (in 2021 – 10, in 2020 – 7) from the Jean Monet direction of the EU Erasmus+ programme!

Thus, out of 92 projects of the Jean Monet direction, recommended for financing in Ukraine, 11 are achievements of Sumy State University.

Iryna Ushchapovska is the project group head of the Department of Germanic Philology, which is among the winners.

We have 3 years of active project implementation and European value introduction by new teams! We sincerely congratulate the teaching staff of the winning projects. In this difficult wartime, they found the strength to submit the projects, thinking about the future country recovery after the victory. The department project topic is relevant and important both for the university and Ukraine. It is related with the implementation of EU mechanisms aimed at promoting the sustainable education development through the brand language. This is a great advantage for those who want to develop themselves together with Sumy State University and build their own European future!

We wish all project teams a successful project implementation and sustainable results!

For reference: Currently, Sumy State University has 34 projects under the Jean Monet direction of the EU Erasmus+ programme.
