On Wednesday (10 November, 15:35), an online lecture "PhD Thesis Defense. Differences between Defense in One-Time Boards (New Rules) Compared to Permanent Boards (Old Rules)" took place at the Department of Germanic Philology.

Students and postgraduates learned about the basic requirements for PhD defense, the principles of forming one-time boards, the procedure of defense and research certification. Finally, process of awarding the PhD degree in specialty 035 Philology was stated.
