From December 17th to 24th at the Department of Germanic Philology took place the defenses of Master's research works of specialty 035 "Philology" for the specialization "German languages and literature (translation included), the first is English" intramural and extramural learning.

The examination board included the chairman - Doctor of Philology Tetiana Anokhina, Vice Chairmen – Dean of the Faculty FPSC Olena Sushkova and Head of the Department of Germanic Philology, Ph.D. in Philology Iryna Kobyakova, as well as members of the board Doctor of Philology Svitlana Shvachko, Ph.D. in Philology Larysa Shchyhlo, Ph.D. in Philology Galyna Chulanova and member of the Expert Employers Board, Director of the travel agency "TurSkaner" Olha Hlushchenko.
Defenses took place distantly, using electronic technologies. Despite the challenges of the new form of communication, higher education students submitted in English the reports to their qualification works, demonstrating a high level of foreign language proficiency, as well as showing awareness of current trends in the study of translation science.
