October 18 within the framework of the students’ club of linguistic and cultural studies Travel Office under the guidance of the lecturer of the Department of Germanic Philology Olena Nazarenko  fourth year students met their colleagues - sophomores. The girls spoke about studying and working in Germany, summer language courses, cultural backgrounds, everyday life and opportunities to visit the country.
The first who shared her impressions after an unforgettable trip was Alina Ponomarenko, a fourth-year student. After the 3rd year of studying the girl went to Germany to work. She highlighted the sincerity, the willingness to help and the open-mindedness of the Germans.

Alina told students about some small difficulties in work, dialects and cultural differences. However, the future interpreter emphasized the invaluable experience and warm memories that summer gave her, and the good German language skills gained at SumDU.
«I was able to attend concerts, travel and improve my own German. It is a pity that I didn’t apply for these programs earlier, so fight your own insecurity, use the various opportunities offered by SSU and participate in the programs», encouraged Alina sophomore students.
Fourth-year student Alina Shynkarenko has more experience, since she first visited Germany after the second year of studying. This time, she told about work and summer language course. Moreover, she has experienced all of that over the period of this summer. «First of all, this year's trip to Germany gave me an opportunity to travel, visit other European countries and festivals, and also meet the wonderful people, who later became my friends. Summer language course has gathered students from many countries. I was able to get acquainted with other cultures, go on excursions and even meet the mayor of Bayreuth» shared Alina her impressions.
You do not have to be afraid and in doubt about yourself. Everyone has the opportunity to visit Germany, to work or to study there, and what is the most important – to improve their German language skills. Such trips give the possibility to see the world, improve your aptitudes and confidently be steady in your purpose. In addition, as Alina noted, «travel is the only thing, which makes you wealthier, when you buy it».
