On March 21-22, the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv hosted the II stage of the contest for the best scientific students’ works in natural, technical and humanitarian sciences in “Translation” specialty. 4th-year students of specialty translation, Marharyta Polupan and Yulia Lazutkina were invited to represent their research papers in front of the members of the commission. It should be said that the scientific papers had been highly appreciated by the commission members during the first stage of the contest and both students were awarded diplomas “For Scientific Discussion Skills” (Marharyta Polupan) and “For Oratory” (Yulia Lazutkina).

Doctor of philology, Professor of the Department of Germanic Philology Natalisa Tatsenko, took part in the contest as a commission member and she was awarded the diploma.

All the visitors from Sumy were favorably impressed by the contest as well as by the old city of Lviv. Colleagues from Lviv invited them to visit the Ivan Franko National University in the future.
