Sumy State University is glad to inform that proceedings of the conference "The First Step into Research 2024" have been published.

In 2024, a record number of proceedings was submitted by the Faculty of Foreign Philology and Social Communication: 98 out of 302 (one third).

On 18 May 2024, an online meeting of the section "Philology. Communication. Society" was held. Not only faculty students but also representatives of school science joined the meeting. Thus, Maryna Sadivnycha (a member of the Department of Journalism and Philology) supervised the pupils' research.

Students Alina Shyian, Kateryna Sotnikova, Anna Kryvoruchko and others spoke on behalf of the Department of Germanic Philology.

The participants' speeches provoked a lively discussion. In particular, the audience was especially interested in the report of Yulia Bahrina "Genetic Factor of Mental Health" (under supervision of Natalia Koliada, a senior lecturer of the Department of Psychology, Political Science and Socio-Cultural Technologies).
