On 25 June 2024, the Department of Germanic Philology held a meeting of the Approval Board in the specialty 035 "Philology". The agenda included the pre-defense of the dissertation research by the postgraduate student L.O. Molhamova. The thesis topic us "The Concept of DEATH in the English Discourse: The Linguistic-Synergistic Aspect".

The Approval Board, consisting of the head N.V. Tatsenko, secretary D.V. Movchan and members S.V. Baranova, S.O. Shvachko and I.K. Kobiakova, heard the postgraduate student's report on her dissertation research for the PhD in Philology degree. The thesis is an independent scientific research. It makes a significant contribution to the development of linguistics.

The thesis pre-defense was assessed positively. The work is recommended for defense at a one-time academic board.
