During January-May 2024, Oleksandra Kubatko (PhD in Economics, associate professor, senior lecturer at the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration of Sumy State University) conducted lectures and practical classes on the discipline "EU Policies for Green Economy" for third-year foreign students majoring in Economics and Business.

The lectures focused on the concept of sustainable development and the prerequisites for creation of green policies for EU countries. Particular attention was paid to climate change and effective development of EU policy on investing in alternative energy sources to improve the environment.

Besides, practical sessions included research, analysis and identification of impact of external factors on environment and socio-economic development in EU countries.

During the classes, results of the Jean Monnet Module project "Fostering EU practices of education for sustainable development through the brand language: interdisciplinary studies" 101085708-ESDbrandEU-ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH (head: I. Ushchapovska) were used.
