Diana Movchan (Associate Professor of the Department of Germanic Philology) became an online participant of the XVII International Conference of the German Language Teachers ​​(IDT 2022), that took place in Vienna (15-22 August 2022), Austria. Participation was possible thanks to the assistance and financial support of the Goethe Institute, Kyiv.

The conference was held under the motto mit.sprache.teil.haben. It was aimed at sharing scientific experience in learning and teaching German as a foreign language.

The event included plenary reports, work in sections, didactic seminars, round tables, etc. In addition, the event format comprised a diverse cultural programme: excursions, readings of literary works by modern authors, movie nights, concerts.

One of the interesting moments was awarding of the winners of the short film competition. The authors were German language teachers from different parts of the world and their students. The jury made a shortlist of 22 films that, in terms of content and cinematography, most convincingly realized the motto of the conference.
