The effective work of the Germanic Philology  Department was hold up with the winning of our students at All-Ukrainian scientific conferences in 2013-2021 academic years:

  • Valeriia Rava  - the 1st place for the research «Gender differentiation of communicative strategies in English-speaking microblogging»in the All-Ukrainian competition of students’ scientific works in the Germanic languages (English, German).
  • Alina Ponomarenko  - the 3rd place for the research «Lexical and stylistic features of feminine and masculine humor in English-speaking media discourse»  in the All-Ukrainian competition of students’ scientific works in the Germanic languages (English, German).
  • Yuliia Luzutkina (PR.m-91) has become a finalist at the VII International Contest of Belletristic for Children and Youth “Korniychukovska Award” (Odessa). The story got to the short-list in the nomination “Prose for Young Children. Ukrainian Writers”
  • Daria Ivanova (PR-71) took 3rd place in the Vitalii Keis All-Ukrainian Shakespeare Competition for Student Research and Creative Projects with the research project “Actualization features of the global categories of time and evaluation foregrounding in translations of William Shakespeare's sonnet XXV” (Zaporizhzhia).
  • Students-translators have won in the IV International translation students competition "Translation as a means of ethno-lingual images of the world actualization" (Kyiv). The 1st place in the nomination "The best translation of poetry from English into Ukrainian (Russian for foreign students) is awarded to Yuliia Lazutkina. In the nomination "The best translation of the English hit song into Ukrainian (Russian for foreign students) we have 3 awards: the 2nd place is awarded to Alina Lutskovska; the 3d place was shared between Liliia Danylenko and Alla Velykodna.
  • Master student Iryna Kuts has got third place in the XI Interuniversity Competition of Young Translators (Kyiv).
  • Diana Nestorenko received a special scholarship from Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
  • Iryna Tretiak received a special scholarship from Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
  • Tetiana Koval received the 2nd-degree certificate in the 2nd round of the All-Ukrainian competition of students’ research works in Romano-Germanic Languages and Literature at Kherson State University.
  • Kseniia Liashch received the 3rd-degree certificate in the 2nd round of the All-Ukrainian competition of students’ research works in Romano-Germanic Languages and Literature at Kherson State University.
  • Yuliia Lazutkina received the 3rd-degree certificate in the 2nd round of the All-Ukrainian competition of students’ research works in Translation (Lviv).
  • Graduate students Lenina Kravets and Alina Korobko became the prizewinners (certificates of the 2nd and 3rd degree) of the All-Ukrainian competition of students’ research works, Kherson.
  • Vitalii Stepanov got All-Ukrainian presidential scholarship.
  • Inga Zaika got the 2nd-degree certificate in the 2nd round of All-Ukrainian competition of students’ research works in natural, technical, and humanitarian sciences in the field of "Romano-Germanic languages and literature" at Kherson State University.
  • Yuliia Lytiuha, Anna Havrylenko, and Yuliia Honcharova got 3rd place at the V International competition of students’ projects in English, International University "International Institute of Social and Labour Relations" (Minsk, the Republic of Belarus).
  • Kateryna Medvid received the 3rd-degree certificate in the 2nd round of the All-Ukrainian competition of students’ research works, Nizhyn Gogol State University.
  • Graduate student Ihor Nalyvaiko occupied 2nd place in the 2nd round of All-Ukrainian Students Olympiad in Translation (English), Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
  • Graduate student Anna Zinchenko occupied the 3rd place in the 2nd round of the All-Ukrainian competition of students’ research works in Translation, Faculty of Translation/Interpretation at Kherson State University.
  • Graduate student Yuliia Senchenko got 1st place at ІV All-Ukrainian scientific conference of students and young scientists "Ukrainian Translation Tradition: History, Methods, Modern Conceptions", Lutsk.
  • Alyona Serhiienko is the winner of the scholarship program "Zavtra.UA".
  • Ivan Vashchyk is the prizewinner of the scholarship programme "Zavtra.UA".
  • Olena Mokrenko is the winner of the All-Ukrainian competition of students’ research works in Romano-Germanic Languages and Literature, Kyiv National Linguistic University.
  • Nataliia Symonenko is the prizewinner of the All-Ukrainian competition of students’ research works in natural, technical, and humanitarian sciences, Donetsk National University.
  • Yuliia Senchenko became the prizewinner of research works in Romano-Germanic Philology, Kyiv.
  • Viktoriia Horenko got the 2nd-degree Diploma of Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine at All-Ukrainian competition of students’ research works in natural, technical, and humanitarian sciences in Romano-Germanic Languages and Literature.
