Education and Career

In June, 2013 I graduated from Sumy State University (SSU), Master Program in Translation Studies, speciality "Translation".

Apr. 2013 – Oct. 2013 I worked as a specialist at the Department for International Education of SSU.

Since Nov. 2013 I have been enrolled as a postgraduate student, the Department of Theory and Practice of Translation, SSU.

Currently I am working on the thesis: "Status of the Quantitative Units in the English Publicistic Discourse", scientific supervisor – Associate Professor, Ph.D. in Philological Sciences Svitlana Baranova.

Research interests

Linguistic Category of Quantity, Strategies and Tactics of Linguistic Manipulation.

Merits

Awardee of All-Ukrainian competitions of students’ research works:

2012 − the 3^rd place, the competition took place at Nizhyn M. Gogol State University.

2013 − the 3^rd place (for the common research work with Yana Denysenko), the competition was held at Kherson State University.

Public activity

I was an active member of Student Self-Government of SSU:

2009 − 2011 − Student Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Philology and Social Communications;

2011 − 2012 − Student Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of SSU.
