Lecturer of the Department of Germanic Philology participated in advanced training program by Goethe-Institute
Senior Lecturer of the Department of Germanic Philology Svitlana Yermolenko participated in advanced training program by Goethe-Institute held on 6-17 July at Sumy Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education for 16 teachers of German language from Sumy, Sumy region and other regions of Ukraine. The courses lasted two weeks and helped German language teachers to advance professionally, to improve speech skills and country research knowledge, methodology and didactics to pass exam for level B2.
Olesia Yehorova, assistant professor at the Department of Theory and Practice of Translation, has recently obtained granting for visiting training course “Youthful Europe” organized by SALTO Eastern Europe and Caucaus Resource Centre. The project was realized in Kiev and financed by the Erasmus+ Programme in the field of youth. It gathered the representatives of educational sector and NGOs from different European countries. During the 5-days event the participants from Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Poland, Italy, Greece and Germany were benefiting from the opportunity to critically reflect on approaches towards Europe through values, identity, senses of belonging and participation.

Philologists of Sumy State University still actively participate in Global Іnternatіonal Scіentіfіc Analytіcal Project (London, Great Britain), which unites scientists from different countries of the world and is aimed to promote progressive scientific ideas, theories and concepts to the world level.
