The lecturer of the department of the Germanic philology participated in Master of Arts in Education (Educational Technology) program in Estonia
In August the lecturer of the department of Germanic Philology Alla Krasulia participated in summer session on Tartu University, Estonia at Faculty of Social Sciences, Institute of Education. It was Master of Arts in Education (Educational Technology) program: https://www.ut.ee/en/masters-programme-educational-technology, which gives an opportunity to get a degree and European diploma of higher education.
Alla represented her MA Research Project to international student group and lecturers of the faculty who may become scientific supervisors of her research paper. The name of her project is “EduTech in Empowering Foreign Language Education: Blended Learning”.
International group consists of university lecturers and school teachers from Estonia, Latvia, China, Spain, Italy, Georgia, the USA and Australia. All participants are about the same age of 30-40 years old, have teaching experience, experience of scientific and management work that makes their communication along with their studying more beneficial.

English-speaking session in the camp „Univer“ from the department of Germanic philology
August, 1st was the end of the second session of holiday-makers in the camp “Univer” of SSU. Initiated by the department of Germanic philology (including support of the School of European Languages and Travel Office) June session was linguistically oriented: the program “Trip in English” was created and firstly used taking into consideration children’s rest program.
Canadian reward for the student of Translation specialization
2nd year student of Translation specialization Kseniya Chorna as semifinalist of the competition «Outstanding Canadian Ukrainians», which was devoted to 125th anniversary of the first Ukrainian settlements in Canada with the help of Canadian educational social organization O.W.L.Open World Learning, has got from O.W.L. a special offer. It is one-time scholarship equal to CAD 200 for language courses in O.W.L. partner schools in Toronto and Vancouver. Scholarship can be equal to CAD 1000 for getting a degree or postgraduate education in Canada or higher establishing institutions which are partners with O.W.L.

The second-year student of the “Translation” specialization Anastasiia Korotun has participated in the youth exchange “Youth for Peace” that from 12 to 24 June gathered 43 young people from Armenia, Georgia, Lithuania, Poland, Turkey, Ukraine, and United Kingdom. The project took place in Okhtyrka area, cottage-park “Slavna”.
