Travel Office supervised by the lecturer of the Department of Germanic Philology  Olena Nazarenko has gathered the 1st year IT students, students-translators and lecturers Antonina Prokopenko, Vladyslava Kulish and Larysa Hartsunova. They had the opportunity to learn about the internship in Romania under the Erasmus+ program. A 3rd year student, Anastasiia Chasovskykh, shared her experience of a 3-month internship at the University of A.I. Cuza (Iasi, Romania).
Nastia gladly shared the tips of the selection (how to write motivation letters and fill out papers), told useful peculiarities on how to act in unexpected situations and not to give up when you get rejected for the upteenth time, explained the nuances of studying abroad and answered all the questions from extremely interested freshmen.

- I still can't believe it happened to me, she says. It was like a magical dream, three months long. For me it was the first experience of international mobility, but I`ll never forget it! In such a short period of time, I managed to travel the length and breadth of Romania, attended incredibly interesting courses, engaged in scientific activities, learned Romanian, helped the English Department with the editing of texts and collaborated with the Slavistics Department translating the collection of scientific articles. We did not have a minute to get bored – there were always interesting events, new ideas for projects or still unexplored points on the map.
– So, Erasmus+. What is this affair like? It is not only language practice and study abroad. Erasmus+ is friends from all over the world, who have become your real family, unpredictable trips, cultural exchange (“This is the way you cook pasta!?”), the desire to learn as many languages as possible, because “Wow, it sounds so beautiful”, and to share with others the traditions of motherland (“Well, in my country...”). This is an incredible experience and unforgettable emotions, inspiration to keep doing, every day become better version of yourself and in any case not to spend the best moments of your life surfing the internet. Once Erasmus, always Erasmus!
