DAAD lector Karsten Grunwaldt met with 1 and 3 year students of specialization Translation within the framework of the Students’ club of linguistic and cultural studies Travel Office under the guidance of the lecturer of the Department of Germanic Philology Olena Nazarenko  and the discipline “Linguistic studies of German Speaking Countries” taught by associate professor Olesia Yehorova ,
Karsten told the students about summer internship opportunities at Germany under the DAAD program. In the presence of a certificate of knowledge B1 German level, students can choose from almost any German university and study for free for about a month.

Karsten also answered questions about history, culture, education in Germany compared to Ukraine. “For the Ukrainians while studying the German language, it is difficult to give the correct pronunciation of the long vowels. To master the language better, you should listen to music and watch movies”, - Karsten gives advice to the students.
The lecture turned into a dialogue with students who learnt many new country-specific features of Germany and would be happy to see Karsten again.
