On September, 11th Sumy State University hosted a workshop “Ukraine – NATO: cooperation for peace”
Students of the Department of Germanic Philology, group PR-71/2 had the opportunity not only to attend a lecture by a well-known specialist in International Security Policy Hryhorii Perepelytsia, professor of Institute of International Relations at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv on the topic “Key NATO’s objectives, values and principles of work in Ukraine. Benefits of cooperation Ukraine – NATO”, to communicate with the First Secretary of the British Embassy in Ukraine, Mr. James Roed-Moore, and project experts, but also to take active part in the simulation game.

They tried themselves as analysts preparing materials to counteract information attacks against cooperation Ukraine and NATO, also they understood the nature of the myths of hybrid war and leant to differentiate them by messages in the media and social networks.
Students were interested in learning more about NATO and about some benefits of Ukraine’s joining NATO, as that is one of the priorities for Ukraine.
