On May 5, on the initiative of the Center for Ukrainian-Polish Cooperation “Sloboda” a lecturer of the Department of Germanic Philology, candidate of technical sciences, associate professor Oleksandr Kobyakov and a fourth-year student Yuliia Lazutkina attended a special event. The Society of Polish Culture in Sumy celebrated the Constitution Day (May 3) and the Day of Polonia and Poles Abroad (May 2) with the participation of the Polish Consul Jan Zdanovsky and his family.

Oleksandr Mykolaiovych recited an extract from the Polish poem "Pan Tadeusz" by Adam Mickiewicz. The guests could enjoy various quizzes on the history, culture and geography of Poland, a festive concert, memorable gifts, as well as warm atmosphere and communication, that made excellent impression.
